Theresa M. Zubretsky
- The Safety Zone - My domestic violence page providing resources and information on woman abuse. Includes a guide for both survivors and helpers about the problem of domestic violence, safety planning, and getting help from domestic violence services, the police, and the courts. Also info on the alcohol/other drug connection, New York State domestic violence resources, and links.
- Also, my most recent online initiative was the development of the web site for the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence (OPDV) which went live on November 4, 1999. The site provides comprehensive information on domestic violence in general as well as DV as it relates to criminal justice, health and human services, coordinated community responses, and the workplace. There is also help for survivors including comprehensive information on DV, safety planning, how to get help from the police and the courts and a county by county list of New York State domestic violence resources. The site also provides New York State and federal legislative summaries and ordering information for OPDV publications and outreach materials. Check it out.
- Pentimento Playback Theatre - Home page for an interactive theater group in the Capital District that I belong to. Playback Theatre is a non-traditional theater form in which audience members tell stories that the actors "play back" on the spot. Check it out.
-
Feminist references - Links to some of my favorite feminist and feminist-friendly sites.
-
Some fun links - Miscellaneous stuff that didn't make it on to the
Zubretsky and McClamrock Home Page. Which essentially amounts to "fun stuff" that my husband doesn't think is so much fun.
