This is my personal page, more or less

“So hey Ron”, you say, “WTF? What is this? What’s here? Why bother? What happened to ‘Ron’s Blog’? And how do I maximize the crunchy and nutritious goodness I get from this site?” Well, here’s where I tell you that.

What’s here? Like it says; just stuff I feel like posting. There are the very occasional posts (like, maybe one every few months or something) which appear on the Posts page. There’s also some relatively static pages with local-to-me (Albany/Troy NY) info, a few little essays, some bits of tech advice, and some other odds-and ends — see the links at the top of the page for all those.

And then there’s the twitter feed over in the right column, which has really taken over most of the day-to-day function of posting a quick commented link or a random thought. I also occasionally use tumblr, but all the stuff from ron.tumblr.com is echoed in the twitter feed as well.)

So, if you want to follow what I’m saying, you might as well just use the twitter feed.

Where’s “Ron’s Blog”? Gone. I did it for a bunch of years, but no more. Blogs are so 2004, don’t you think? Anyway, as time went by, I posted less and less. And my son got old enough that writing about him without anonymity seemed like it started encroaching on his privacy.

What about Professional Ron? My professional page is at profron.net, if that’s what you’re looking for.
