My name is Oz McClamrock. I’m 12 years old and in sixth grade. I live in Troy, New York with Mom, Dad, and Sasha the cat (and Grandma is nearby too).

I like ketchup and grilled onions on my Five Guys burgers, peaches, strawberries, pizza, tacos, french toast, music (electric guitar, clarinet, and synthesizer), riding my bike, reading, drawing and reading all kinds of maps, Back to the Future, and Epic Mickey.

Some of my favorite books and their authors are JK Rowling’s Harry Potter, Rick Riordan‘s Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Trenton Lee Stewart’s The Mysterious Benedict Society, Dav Pilkey (Captain Underpants, Super Diaper Baby, and Ook and Gluk), Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes, Suzanne Collins (The Underland Chronicles, The Hunger Games Trilogy), Beverly Cleary (Henry and Ribsy, Beezus and Ramona, Otis and Ellen),and Lemony Snicket‘s A Series of Unfortunate Events. I’m also a big fan of Queen, Led Zeppelin, and “Weird Al” Yankovic, who I just saw live (check out my homemade fan video!)!

I’m in 6th grade now. My favorite (and sometimes the only good) things are band and chorus. That’s it. Pathetic. The best things I’ve done recently are The Lion King, Cirque du Soleil, The Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom, Mass MoCA, and Weird Al live.
